Almost 5 years later, I find myself in the same spot, with the same towel 😜, reading a different book, but similar message…let it go, babe, LET.IT.GO...

Every year during this season, I feel a weight looming, one that’s become so close, I find it taking hold of me. This year, instead of letting it shadow me, I turned and faced her…wrapped her up in the entirety of my soul and let everything wash over me. The compassion and unrelenting presence this journey through life has cultivated in me, came to life as a visceral experience I can only describe as ineffable peace.

Turns out, when I stop bracing for impact, I become available for everything trying to reach me. Love is there, whether I’m aware of it or not...even when my heart is breaking, even when I’m lost in a spiral of thoughts, even when my perception is distorted in scarcity, even when my body feels like the enemy, even when I’m consumed in grief…ESPECIALLY when I’m consumed in grief.

Growing this capacity to experience life on another level, requires a kind of persistence where longing and spiritual knowing meet. It’s the kind of desire that burns you to your core, until there’s nothing left, but surrender. That’s where your aliveness lives.

This is what this year has given me, through radical shifts, the lowest of lows and the commitment to rise, not above, but WITH the ache...an experience of love so vast, I’ll never stop feeling her, loving her, being her.

So grateful “I get to” continue desiring, letting go, experiencing life to the fullest…Soul, wide-open.

I want to crawl into bed after a long day and melt into my man. I want to breathe him in, feel his strong arms wrapped around me, touch his body and know I am safe. Not just physically safe because he's bigger and stronger then me but emotionally safe too. .

There is strength in partnership. To feel supported, heard, acknowledged and valued. There is opportunity for growth when you are challenged and shown a different point if view. .

Someone I can laugh with, cry with, dream with, build a life with, raise a family with, be physically and emotionally naked with. I want to feel excitement every morning when I roll over and see his face and feel absolutely blessed every night when his lips meet mine before we fall asleep. .

I crave a man I trust completely. A man who's living his purpose and lives his truth with intensity and courage. .

Birthday Bliss. .

Expanding my capacity to tolerate bliss all day. And make it a lifestyle. .

Lately, I’ve been getting much more intimate with self-worth, what it means, how I embody it and how it affects my life. Turns out it’s the glue to our ability to give our authentic gifts to the world. On this topic, I listened to Matt Kahn speak on this and have a few take aways to share: .

New affirmation: I am filled with unlimited value.

I see and believe in the unlimited value in others. .

The only person preventing me from feeling good about myself is…me. .

I have the power to feel good about myself, just as much as feeling bad. Understanding this puts my experience in my hands and “with great power, comes great responsibility”. .

For many of us, really anyone outside the extreme end of the narcissism spectrum, are better served learning to “feel good” about ourselves than meditation. There are so many “ways” to cultivate mindfulness and peace in our lives, yet sometimes these practices become a torture chamber we use to further critique ourselves. This doesn’t mean I don’t see the value in mediation, it only means for me, that the way I mediate must be practiced in such a way that creates a sense of feeling better about myself after it’s over versus judging how I did or making it another thing I check off the list, etc. .

The purpose of the spiritual journey is to live into our well-being…to claim our worthiness. Vitamin W!!!! .

No more improving or needing to “get better”. The true journey to wholeness is recognizing our inherent value without doing or changing anything. .

Beauty is a manifestation of self-acceptance. . I affirm “There is nothing wrong with me because I am filled with unlimited value”. .

Paradigm Shift: Feeling good about yourself is the most genuine path you can take; no more working on yourself or trying to “figure out” how to blah blah blah…to be worthy of whatever it is you believe you are missing. .

Doing this is undeniably the only thing that has healed me and grown my capacity to feel compassion for myself and others. .

In my darkest hours, the ONE thing that has lifted me is being vulnerable and loved by another. .

This is all I am here to do. Be True {Honest}, Connect, and Love. This is living in TRUE FREEDOM. .

We cannot elevate our lives without connecting to Love. I have found that in order to experience Love, you have to GIVE. Give yourself up. Get real…and go towards the people and places that will champion you. .

Love doesn’t appear by trying to get something, it’s simply there when we are…when we show up…when we get real with how we feel and SHARE it. .

This is INCREDIBLE! I woke up to this and I couldn’t believe what happened! .

Turns out it was a concrete truck that blocked the light reflecting off the “glass truck” parked across the street. Goes to show that when we are LIT and our filter is clear, there is no limit to the colors {experiences} we will see! When we let limiting perceptions and realities block our experience, our possibilities to feel Life at the highest level is diminished. .

The message I took was 1. Life is amazing! 2. Open the “blind” and you will see your true colors shine through! If we are OPEN and PAY ATTENTION, life is everywhere loving us. Creative energy doesn’t lower itself to help you feel better! You must open and find the best feeling place you can reach…Leaving resistance behind, you experience relief and the light can come in. Resistance is the ultimate state of disempowerment. No power flowing through you, you experience what it’s like to have no energy! .

Get turned ON! Open up, let Life have it’s way with you! You will never regret giving yourself your full attention. The GOLD is in there! .

Syncronicites happen ALL day long. I came downstairs and opened the blinds, looked over still in awe of the rainbow I had just seen and there was my daughter! The picture of her when she was four…highlighted by the sun…dressed all in colored light!! By this point I am beaming! I opened the front door to check for a package I am expecting and I look down to see…scroll through the pictures! My tea cup was even illuminating the Truth this morning! .

Life is so full of possibilities! We can experience ourselves in all new ways if we make the choice to listen to that small voice begging to give you the key. Eventually it’s no longer a small voice…that’s when it gets REALLY good because there is no denying who you are and what you stand for. .

I’ve been gathering up the wisdom I’ve written over the years, and came across this gem: The only requirement to receive (Love’s grace or insert any bliss’d out connection you call the infinite flow of Life) is to PAY ATTENTION. And the song that immediately comes on: “Do you hear me calling”…moved me to tears…AND then the next song starts, “Do you hear me, I’m talking to you”… .

Even in the midst of struggle, we have the power of choice to turn and face it! To OPEN to wisdom, EMBRACE what you’re given and experience true intimacy with your own HEART. .

I believe our purpose lives at the intersection of connection and authenticity and we remember who we are when we feel safe enough to feel known on a soul level.

When we step into honored space, LOVE awakens, the heart opens and TRUTH moves through the body...only then can we experience being fully alive and claim our lives.

If you want to really LIVE, you have to FEEL your life. The only thing keeping you from living your full potential is everything you are AVOIDING. (AKA - resistance/fear) .

I know this path well. I have been a masterful avoidant queen. If I could theme the last decade, I would say it has been a journey of chasing my own ass in circles…really colored- in-nicely, beautiful circles ;) I give myself an A+ for efforting, spinning my wheels, striving for perfection, seeking the next highest rung on the ladder, though eventually becoming a person that wanted to end the madness. I wanted to die. I cycled in and out of misery, blame, and desperation. And thank God because rock bottom is the best place to be if you want to find the Truth. .

In the moments I couldn’t hold back the hurt anymore, a power expansively greater than my limited self, loved me back home. I recognized and experienced this infinite, creative, undying powerhouse of strength and joy as an energy coursing through me, not solely an idea of something outside of me that I had yet to know or been worthy of being given access to. The power of grace and the courage to get more intimate with my mind, body and heart opened the door to Love in it’s truest existence... .

I broke free. Turns out I was holding onto the chains the whole time. It is time to let go. To let go of what keeps us stuck. .

How can we move forward if we are buried in chains? The chains of illusion, limiting and conditioned thinking and repressed pain. These are the barriers to knowing ourselves at the deepest level. These are the barriers that keep us from feeling alive and on purpose in our lives. .

They have feared the tornadoes that spin through her veins, and they have attempted to calm the chaos that keeps her wide-eyed, fueled and alluringly alive. Although they find her uniqueness irresistible, and they wanted a taste of this world she has created, the barriers in their mind caused such resistance that they failed to capture the bewitching charm that their soul longed.

She is a curious, timeless, sentimental, sensitive, infinite being. An old wise intuitive soul and a bewildered, mischievous, wounded child mixed into one, and she finds home in the hearts of all that she loves. Although she wanders, alone and free, she knows exactly which compass to follow. She relies on internal navigation and although it has led her into battle, it has never failed to lead her back out and toward the beauty of greener land.

You may think she is rebellious, unchartered and possibly even puzzling and peculiar, but if you observe how she moves, you will see that she is fluidly flowing with nature—and while she defies society and logic, it is with grace and without intention. Instead, she courageously steps in time to the pulse of the universe’s heartbeat, fearlessly breaking down false paradigms and taking down the walls of separation that generations before her had built.

This rare otherworldly mesmerizing creature, although she is sensitive and vulnerable, is also the center of a life-changing storm more powerful than any desert has witnessed.

She is immense joy and the deepest sorrow, with maximum measures of pleasure and pain. However, neither the darkness nor the light entices her to dance; she just twirls and spins without demands. She is a magnificent wonder that cannot be named, defined or pinned down. With unshakable determination there is nothing and no one that can hold, bind or harness her.

Our hearts have to be held in a new way - or held for the first time as lovable and worthy. The pain is there to say I need something, don’t avoid me, distract yourself, numb out, cover me with positivity…really accept me. I am here. I have value.
